Sopley Girls’ Football Match

Sopley Girls’ Football Match

On Monday the 13th of November the years 5/6 girls took part in a friendly football match out on the green against Sopley. Everyone had a great time and played well whilst still learning how to work as a team. I would like to say that all of these people represent our school amazingly, Florry, Amber, Sophie, Maddie, Grace, Lula, Izzy, Kaya and myself.

They respected one another and despite the fact that some of us haven’t played before everyone gave it their very best go! Every one of them made a contribution just by being there because they all have their own specialities that all links into be a great team. It was freezing cold but Florry was a star and scored 5 goals(!!) and Izzy was quick and sly and got us a goal and then to finish off the game Maddie scored and we ended up with 7-0 to us. A really great first match for Hale’s girls football team.
